Kukui (pronounced kook-u-e) is the Hawaiian word for enlightened.

‘The Kukui nut tree is a symbol of enlightenment, wisdom, protection, and peace. It is said to contain subtle energy known in Hawaii as “Ki” (Chi). The oil of the nut is used for Hawaiian healing and is said to be a powerful amplifier for sending love and light’.
